Paul.kennedyjr[TK] Posted September 24, 2015 Report Posted September 24, 2015 Is the new AM 2.0 helmet 501st approved or would j need to invest in another helmet? I know that the first run isn't approved, being the "bobble head" but my understanding is that they remade it to fit approval specs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
justjoseph63[Staff] Posted September 25, 2015 Report Posted September 25, 2015 I am sure it will be fine, Paul, no worries. Quote
HouTK418[501st] Posted September 25, 2015 Report Posted September 25, 2015 The new AM2 helmet is VERY good. there have been many approvals since it came out. Not the same at all as the old FX/AM same goes for the rest of the molds.. AM2 is way ahead of previous sets. Quote

I know personally of at least 10 here locally all using AM2 sets and helmets all approved with ease... There are many here mainly because the seller is in the local Garrison.. And far more out there especially in the Northern California garrison where the other partner is based. Which part exactly is an "overstatement" Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted September 25, 2015 Report Posted September 25, 2015 Because AM2 is still only like 25% new parts compared to 1.0. And it's not that great still compared to accurate kits like TM. Quote

And it's not that great still compared to accurate kits like TM. only 25%? More like 80%. I just got an AM 2.0 and each piece has been redesigned to look more accurate. I've seen the comparisons... my 2 cents. Quote
Delta 1 Posted January 11, 2016 Report Posted January 11, 2016 What would you folks think about AM armor and another companies helmet would that be a no go? Quote
