I know I'm not the first to experience this but I haven't stumbled on and info on the topic.

But alas my brother has a fat head. And his head barely fits through the bottom of his helmet without the rubber edge seal. So with it he will never fit. My initial thoughts were to widen the hole a 1/4" all the way around. But I feel this might get to close to the screw holes on the lower ears. Is it better to widen only certain areas of the helmet hole?

Repositioning the face and cap'n back gives you some space.

And most people have to put the helmet on sideways and "screw" it on.

Widening like you  want to is an option too, but it still should be an oval opening.

My husband has a fat head too.  He does what Sonnenschein stated about putting the helmet on sideways.  We did try to make his helmet a little wider than mine, but he can still put my helmet on his head as well.

I can BARELY get mine on even when screwing it on.. in armor with restricted movement it's virtually impossible.. I need options as well.
