Smiling Fox[TK] Posted September 16, 2015 Report Posted September 16, 2015 (edited) Has anyone else seen the Finn toy that identifies himself by the designation FN 2187? There was a rumor that Finn was not his actual name. If this is the case are we going to change the TFA troopers designation to FN instead of TK? Edited September 16, 2015 by Smiling Fox Quote

camprandall Posted September 16, 2015 Report Posted September 16, 2015 I'd be cool with FN. I suspect that is the designation because both Phasma and Finn use it. Either way, we need to make sure so waiting is good. 1 Quote
Darth Aloha[Admin] Posted September 16, 2015 Report Posted September 16, 2015 For now the costume remains a TK since it lives under the FISD umbrella. Who knows what will happen after December? -Eric 1 Quote
TK5492[TK] Posted September 16, 2015 Report Posted September 16, 2015 2187 huh? I see what they did there. Quote
netslave[501st] Posted September 16, 2015 Report Posted September 16, 2015 Yeah, I expect that the designation will change. Might be a good idea just to give some distinction to the FO Troopers. 1 Quote
Daetrin[Admin] Posted September 16, 2015 Report Posted September 16, 2015 Agreed - cool times ahead for sure! Quote
TK4205 Posted September 17, 2015 Report Posted September 17, 2015 I'll be one cool FN stormtrooper! 3 Quote
camprandall Posted September 17, 2015 Report Posted September 17, 2015 Oh, now I really want it to be FN. That would FN rock! Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk 2 Quote

Troopscoop[TK] Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 2187 huh? I see what they did there. I don't--what does it mean?? Quote
tk fett[TK] Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 I don't--what does it mean??I'm in the same boat but I found this....http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Cell_2187_(Prosecutor) is this what it's referring to? Quote

jjarmoryinc Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 I'd be cool with FN. I suspect that is the designation because both Phasma and Finn use it. Either way, we need to make sure so waiting is good. Correct me if I'm wrong, I was under the belief that Phasma's toy says it as if she is referencing Finn; does she ever use the designation to refer to herself or other troopers? Quote
camprandall Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Yeah JJ, that was my impression too. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk 1 Quote
DarkTrooper[TK] Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 I picked up the latest issue of TIME magazine and the caption of a picture of John Boyega's character says he's a First Order Stormtrooper with FN in front of his ID # Could this classification be carried on to our group? FN = First Order Stormtroopers? Quote
tk fett[TK] Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 (edited) Spoiler!!!!

there's three troopers that were called FN in front of their call number.

so I guess we're FN-Troopers now. Edited December 15, 2015 by tk fett 1 Quote
mitcheg1[501st] Posted December 18, 2015 Report Posted December 18, 2015 Spoiler alert! In the scene where the resistance battles the first order near Maz's place, I thought one of the stormtroopersr reported in as TK-338. Hux also hints as variants of troopers! 3 Quote

I was just about to post this as well - there is most certainly the TK tag in that scene. Perhaps it was a Stormtrooper surviving from the Empire now working within the First Order and still using his old identification number? Quote
mitcheg1[501st] Posted December 18, 2015 Report Posted December 18, 2015 Perhaps that's a cool way for the Legion to approach it as well! If you are a former TK, you remain a TK. If you are new to the Legion as a Stormtrooper (like me) you are an FN!!! I like that idea! BTW, my mistake on my post, it's Kylo that mentions clones, not Hux Quote
TK 2759[501st] Posted December 18, 2015 Report Posted December 18, 2015 I thought this was something that the LCO and council members decide? Other than that, we can only speculate from what I've been reading here... Quote
