AWESOME!!!  GOOD LUCK AND WAITING FOR ANOTHER CENTURION FOR THE GARRISON!!!

Wow- beautiful armor and great photography!  My only feedback would be to twist your right shin a little.  That will help it line up with the thigh better.

Posted

Beautiful armor and application! Good luck.

About the twisting the rigt shin for a better line up with the thigh, it's a bit more complicated. The way the AP right shin is, if you line up the top of the shin's cover stripe with the thigh, then the bottom is off. And if you line the bottom, the top is off. There's no real perfect alignment possible, so don't be too much bugged about that.

In a word, Tim,... WOW!  Fantastic job, sir, I think you have this one nailed.  Incredible job on the paintwork!

Wow man...This is unbelievable.  You have basically set the bar for how AP should look.  This is incredible!

Every person who would ever want to go Centurion should see this thread!

First off, I'd like to thank all of you for your kind words.

A lot of time, research, and sweat went into my armor and I'm quite moved that all you guys like it as much as I do  ^_^

AWESOME!!!  GOOD LUCK AND WAITING FOR ANOTHER CENTURION FOR THE GARRISON!!!

Thank you!

I can't wait to add another Centurion to the GGG!

All these photos are taken at my friends house with an iPhone 6 (yeah, crazy huh!).

Here's a sneak peak of the set up:

Also, thanks for the feedback, the next photoshoot I do I'll try and line the right shin up a bit better.

Haha, yep, as you know this AP armor is a bit finicky at times.

Don't get me wrong, I love the AP armor, but it does have it's quirks ^_^

Awesome job, looks great!  That's funny about the Rt. shin being mentioned.  We did the Weird Al troop last night and I thought my Rt shin was twisting up on me!  I cut the bottom notch down more (around the foot) and added some small velcro to help stop it, but it may have been just me.

Tim, WOW! These are awesome. See you on the other side.  :jc_doublethumbup:

Just be advised I may be calling on your photo service for my TFA.   :smiley-sw013:

Yeah, I've seen some people use velcro or snaps to hold the right shin in place. After I go on a few troops I'll most likely add something to keep the shin from moving.

Nice build and wonderful photos!

Thank you!

Thanks Tony!

I've been following your TFA build and it looks amazing so far!

All the photo equipment is my friends, but I bet he wouldn't have any problems taking some photos for you  :smiley-sw013:

GREAT photos and great build.

only thing I may see is the Cap rivet you used on the cod piece is gold/bronze. Correct me if i'm wrong, is it supposed to be silver? CRL doesn't say anything about the color.

Great work nonetheless. you got this

A beautiful build. Your photographer makes it all look so beautiful and with an iPhone no less!

Your painting skills on the helmet are supernatural.

Hello, Tim!!  I cannot thank the stars enough that I am forced to spend extra looking at everyone's sets of armor. Sometimes a set comes along that steals a breath from me. This was one. Let's have a look!

CRL and Centurion Application Requirements:

All required photos have been posted and your armor properly displays all required elements to qualify for this badge. With that, I congratulate and welcome you to Centurion!!!

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:

It is obvious to me what your intentions were right out of the box. Helmets off to you, Tim! Yes, the photography helps, but it comes down to the details.

Your body type allowed you to remove the un-needed cover strip ridge in the thigh backs. Although some may say your helmet details are too perfect, I think the Empire would probably say different. Hyperfirm blasters have atendency to arrive with "enthiusiastic" weathering. I don;t know if you ordered it un-weathered and did it yourself or you altered it, but your blaster looks awesome.

I am sure you have been making your Garrison proud already. I would love to be seen beside you.

Well done, Tim!
