BenFriday77[501st] Posted August 8, 2015 Report Posted August 8, 2015 (edited) I Hope this is the right place to post this. If not, please move. Here http://www.starwars-union.de/nachrichten/15775/Erste_Setfotos_zu_Rogue_One/ you can See first impressions of the Set of Rogue One. Looks like we're going to see classic TK's on the big screen again! But, there seem to be a few differences. Most of all, the lack of a holster and the (IMO) too short thights 😜 Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk Edited August 8, 2015 by BenFriday77 1 Quote
Tolo[TK] Posted August 8, 2015 Report Posted August 8, 2015 They look like Disney's TK (obviously). Quote
DroidHunter Posted August 9, 2015 Report Posted August 9, 2015 (edited) Minor variations aside, darned happy to see this. Does look like Disney armor. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Edited August 9, 2015 by DroidHunter Quote
TKCaleb Posted August 9, 2015 Report Posted August 9, 2015 I was looking closely at the images too. The armor looks very different from the TKs seen in the original trilogy. The shoulder bells look off, the thighs, chest plate... 1 Quote
Turrican Posted August 9, 2015 Report Posted August 9, 2015 Not original style but old style. For my personal taste better as the Duckface I-Pod TFA trooper. Let's wait for some HD pic's. 1 Quote
Brandon Posted August 9, 2015 Report Posted August 9, 2015 What is a Disney tk? Is that an actual kit that places like Disneyland specifically use?? The troopers in the photos look kinda bad. Look at the crotch area its really off and shoulder bells and chest too...they look fx pieces. No shape or sculpted feel that original tks had. I hope I'm wrong Quote

camprandall Posted August 9, 2015 Report Posted August 9, 2015 The forearms also look different as they have a curved cut-out, kinda like the TFA, instead of just being tubular. A little strange that they're mixing it up for a suit that you would think would be identical to ANH. Cool to see them though! Quote
camprandall Posted August 9, 2015 Report Posted August 9, 2015 And if you look at the third picture down, it looks like they have removable (and different) cod pieces. That's a good move considering how ridiculous it is to have armor that you have to nearly completely take off to take care of business. 1 Quote
camprandall Posted August 9, 2015 Report Posted August 9, 2015 Ok, now that I'm being annoying with my third post in a row, I'll post some pics of what I think I see is different about these. 3 Quote
jkno Posted August 9, 2015 Report Posted August 9, 2015 Diamond knee plate is from a Sandie - unless these are supposed to be some kind of Sandtroopers. I'm also curious to see ow the helmet looks like, will it be symmetrical? Quote
charlesnarles Posted August 9, 2015 Report Posted August 9, 2015 Huge thermal detonators? Maybe not. (They look unhappy to see a drone snapping pics to leak) 2 Quote

Great summary of Things that stick out to me as well. The removable CodPiece seems like a real improvement though. Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk 1 Quote
Seeker[TK] Posted August 9, 2015 Report Posted August 9, 2015 These could be stunt costumes. They look a bit flimsy. Quote
Nagedzi[TK] Posted August 10, 2015 Report Posted August 10, 2015 Diamond knee plate is from a Sandie - unless these are supposed to be some kind of Sandtroopers. I'm not sure.... The one on the right looks kind of diamond shaped, but on the guy beside him (with the coloured end of detonator) it looks like a regular sniper plate in profile. Quote
Daetrin[Admin] Posted August 10, 2015 Report Posted August 10, 2015 Man, how do you get to be an extra on these things? 3 Quote

TK5144[TK] Posted August 10, 2015 Report Posted August 10, 2015 is TM working on this armor yet? Quote
Sly11[Admin] Posted August 11, 2015 Report Posted August 11, 2015 Boot soles are more TFA than ANH style, you think they would show a bit more consistence to the ANH, considering this happens prior to it. Chest looks thick around the edge, more like ROTJ. What time frame between this movie and ANH takes place??? The buckets look the same, why not keep it all a little closer . TKCaleb Posted August 11, 2015 Report Posted August 11, 2015 (edited) I don't want to sound pessimistic but I already have a tough time taking this film seriously when the armor looks like something I could buy off Ebay... Edited August 11, 2015 by TKCaleb Quote

Consistence seems not to Be an important thing in the new Anthology Movie regarding the TKs.... Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk Quote
Lichtbringer Posted August 11, 2015 Report Posted August 11, 2015 It never was. The OT had also bad and shabby made props, mixed props that it would be a shame for any c-movie. 1 Quote
