This past weekend the Great Lakes Garrison, Great Lakes Base, and the Midwest R2 Builders attended Maker Faire Detroit held at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn Michigan. This was a special troop for me because it was my first! After a year of building and waiting and then building some more I finally got to show my armor to someone other than my family.

Wow! You mentioned all the reasons I want to do this. Great troop! I can't wait to get my armor in and built and join the rest of my fellow TKs in bringing smiles to the little ones. Thanks for the report it was great!

Great pics and awesome armor! It was great trooping with you.

Maker fair was my first troop last year and holds a special place in trooping.  This is from the one this year:

Wow, Kyle!  First, thanks for posting these incredible photos... what a turnout for your first troop, and as a Centurion, no less!!!  Buckets off to you and the Great Lakes Garrison for a job well done..

It was a great time. Any Legion members are welcome to join us at future events. This will happen again next year the third week in July.
