Darth Aloha[Admin] Posted September 5, 2015 Report Posted September 5, 2015 I've found Walt's ears to be easier than most. Just a few mm's away from the line in the mold and you're good to go. Ā Nice progress. I need to finish my WTF one of these days... not that it will fit me... but it fulfills the need to F up some abs. Ā -Eric 1 Quote

Ryth_[501st] Posted September 6, 2015 Author Report Posted September 6, 2015 Testing. Feels wide. Will be needing to take down the ears a bit more. Ā Ā Quote
Ryth_[501st] Posted September 6, 2015 Author Report Posted September 6, 2015 How does it look? Got a wee gap on the right. But that will do. Ā Ā Ā Quote
ISBEAR[501st] Posted September 8, 2015 Report Posted September 8, 2015 That first pic looks horrifying, mirrored helmets are scary. If you like the wider ears go for it, they do come of a little wide when you don't wear the rest of the armor, but when you do, it will look good. Ā Sent fra min D5803 via Tapatalk Quote
Ryth_[501st] Posted September 8, 2015 Author Report Posted September 8, 2015 Ears got reduce quite a bit Kristoffer!Ā Will try it with armor soon, about to finish doing the last brush strokes here. Glass and padding is in as well. Quote

Ryth_[501st] Posted September 18, 2015 Author Report Posted September 18, 2015 It's all done Walt!Ā Lost the mojo when the forum swapped servers, and DNS went all haywire. So not that many progress shoots going on in the end. But here's the finished part. Thanks a lot for all you people that helped me on the way - couldn't have gotten this far without you. ukswrath[Staff] Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 (edited) Excellent job Stein!Ā Ā Edit: If possible you need to drop the right bicep a bit and reign in the gap between it and the right forearm, there's quite a bit of room there. Edited September 18, 2015 by ukswrath Quote
Ryth_[501st] Posted September 18, 2015 Author Report Posted September 18, 2015 Good eye you have there. Still haven't strapped bicep to shoulder - so it's ready for a more permanent adjustment Quote

ukswrath[Staff] Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 One last thing, when taking pictures make sure your chest plate is positioned over your ab. Do what you must to keep it down.Ā Ā Beautiful armor! Quote
Ryth_[501st] Posted September 19, 2015 Author Report Posted September 19, 2015 One last thing, when taking pictures make sure your chest plate is positioned over your ab. Do what you must to keep it down.Ā Ā Beautiful armor! Ā That is true. I'll have to tighten the left chest to ab strap. I had that problem at troop as well - not that it glides up, but it needs to be corrected more. I'll apply for EIB and Centurion when my blaster shows up. (shivers) 1 Quote
Ryth_[501st] Posted October 27, 2015 Author Report Posted October 27, 2015 Got EIB! wooh hooo! Ā Now I'm doing the final touches for centurion. I'll have to take new pictures - since the old ones is so dark. Ā The major change I had to do were to trim down all returnedge on the ab button cover. It's done, and it's curing as we speak! 1 Quote
