Thanks man! Lol!

Very nice photo! Recruitment shot for Incinerators?

I don't have a problem with you using the photo. This is the only high quality photo, the other photos from the event are just taken with my phone.

Can I use that pic to show other buyers what they can do with my armour? Do you have any others?

Yeah! I got my EIB badge. If anyone wants to check out that thread here it is <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32523-tk-42131-requesting-inc-eib-status-am2493/'>http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32523-tk-42131-requesting-inc-eib-status-am2493/</a><br><br>

I'll post some new pics of some changes I made in 2 weeks or so when I get back from vacation.

So after comparing my photos side by side with the screen shots photos I decided my spacing was off. I had cut my cod piece to short to fix it by moving my belt and ab plate up. So after much think and I decided to add to the cod, move<br>

After applying the paste, sanding, painting, and applying the weathering it all blended together well and you can't really see the seam. <br><br>

Then I trimmed a little off the neck on the chest plate. I decided to use the opportunity to get rid of the rubber trim on the bottom that didn't take the paint very well. So I used the heat gun to fold up the existing plastic. <br><a class="bbc_url" href="<a class="bbc_url" href="http://s264.photobucket.com/user/yoshix/media/20150816_093952.jpg.html">http://s264.photobucket.com/user/yoshix/media/20150816_093952.jpg.html"><img</a>src="<a class="bbc_url" href="http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii165/yoshix/20150816_093952.jpg">http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii165/yoshix/20150816_093952.jpg"</a> alt="20150816_093952.jpg"></a><br> <br>

It was a long slow process and I was st scared I would F it up. But I think it turned out ok.<br><a class="bbc_url" href="<a class="bbc_url" href="http://s264.photobucket.com/user/yoshix/media/20150816_100823.jpg.html">http://s264.photobucket.com/user/yoshix/media/20150816_100823.jpg.html"><img</a>src="<a class="bbc_url" href="http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii165/yoshix/20150816_100823.jpg">http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii165/yoshix/20150816_100823.jpg"</a> alt="20150816_100823.jpg"></a><br> <br>

This last photo is with paint and changed the snaps around. If you look you can see the the chest plate is cut croked, I don't really notice it so much but maybe some day down the road I'll order a new chest plate. But all in all I'm much happier with <br><a class="bbc_url" href="http://s264.photobucket.com/user/yoshix/media/20150831_045230.png.jpeg.html"><imgsrc="http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii165/yoshix/20150831_045230.png.jpeg" alt="20150831_045230.png.jpeg"></a><br>

Sorry for the mirror photo, my wife won't be back from her trip for another month to take better photos.

It looks great. Its only after a few troops that you start to understand how it all fits together and feels. I took the plunge and cut some OFF my codpiece to shorten it. I have just trimmed some off  the tops of my lags where it was rubbing in my nether regions :)

Onwards and upwards!

My photos didn't show up, looks like I plugged the wrong code<br><br>

<a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://s264.photobucket.com/user/yoshix/media/20151120_170646.jpg.html' class="bbc_url" title="External link"><img src="http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii165/yoshix/20151120_170646.jpg" alt="20151120_170646.jpg"></a><br>

Alright. Now that I've got a few troops behind, I've looked at photos of me stand next to other troopers and compared and analyzed I've come up with a few conclusions. One, that I'm short and skinny "aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper". Standing next to some of the "larger guys" in my garison I look different. At first I thought it was just the red paint. Then I noticed that my spacing was all wrong. So I threw out the idea of trying to match the screen shots for the incinerator trooper and try ed to match the normal TKs. I can't do much about being small but I can try to look right. <br><br>

So over the last two months or so I've been making some changes including <br><br>

Cutting down my back plate and centering it.<br>

Adding snaps to my lower arms so they don't sag down. <br>

Adding width and hight to my thys, and rounding off the tops.<br>

Adding to my cod piece <br>

Adding to the bottom of my chest plate, centering, adding a new trim, cutting more off the neck line. <br>

Rearranging the inner snaps to push the ab and chest plate farther up.<br>

Cutting the more off the cap and back to try to make my head look smaller.<br><br>

I am now happy with the results. <br>

Let's see if I can post some pictures

So my goal from the beginning was to wäre this costume to the episode 7 primer, mission accomplished! So far, it was my favorite troop. The fans where so happy and pumped to see us there. It was a great time. Now that it's over and I've finished working on my new costume (the kashyyyk trooper- white variant ) I think I'm going to retire this set of armor. Maybe try to sell it.

Great build thread, and excellent work! I am in the process of making mine, as well. Where did you get your pauldron?

Thanks.

I ended up ordering a cheep one from www.stormtrooper-costumes.com and taking it apart and swing in the red. I wanted to order the nice expensive sandtrooper pauldron but I was worried about my ability to sew it back together. You could try contacting some makers but good luck getting a response.

I was still not happy with my Incinerator, so I decided in honor of Rouge One to do a massive overhaul of the hole thing. Almost every piece got re-sized re-worked and re-painted

I finally got my new pauldron from Trooperbay and its fantastic. I can finally throw out that old POS one. I think its double the price, but so worth it!

If I recall correctly, the reason I didn't go with the Trooper Bay pauldron to begin with was that they didn't offer some may color options back then and I didn't want to buy the expensive one to try to take it apart and not have it work.

I should be able to take some photos today of the finished produce. Im very happy with how it looks and am looking forward to posting some photos of the changes.

After a year of looking at photos and not understand what I was doing wrong, I think I've finally done it!

I used the techniques I learned building my realistic clone to re-shape my armor. I started seeing the project as "what I want to look like" and not "how I think the armor should fit me." Surprisingly, its still me under there, just a little more padded out.

Unfortunately, I didn't take photos of all the changes that I made along the way as there where many of them. Including but not limited to, new pauldron, smaller helmet, adding to the caffs, re-making the for-arms, adding to the biceps, adding to the neckline, adding and re-shaping the cod, new paint, new weathering, and sooooo on.

I see it as I went form looking like a Power Ranger, to looking like a Stormtrooper. Ether everyone was too nice to tell me how bad I looked, or no one noticed. To be honest, I'm not sure how I even got approved.

It was my first 501st costume and I had no one around (other than my very loving wife) to help and tell me what not to do and make changes in person. If I had known, I could have reached out to my future squad members for help, I most certainly would have. Maybe I was (or still am) a little nut that thinks I know better and can do everything on my own.

It's a little hard for me to post up the comparison photos as it shows just how bad I looked when I thought I look great

I still need to grey my drop boxes, and weather my butt and kidney. That's why I don't have any comparison photos of the back.

Eventually, I plan to re-make my flamethrower but for the mean time my new T-21 will do.

Looking good! I think the biggest difference is just wearing the pauldron correctly.
