Belt rivets - which kind?

The more I read, the more I get confused. LOL.

 

What kind of rivets were used on the belt?

 

I'm inclined to say cap/speed rivets, the same as on the ammo pack.

What about split rivets?

 

Definately NOT pop rivets.

Cap rivets. You can just about to make out the back side of the rivets here:

For the record: They're called "Hohlnieten" in German (it took me some time to figure that out)
