I installed the folding stock and secured with two screws.  I then filled the phillips head in with green stuff.  When its dry I will cover with black spray paint.

The weapon is now prepped for final coat of black, weathering and then sealed with matte finish.  I used Matte Black, but the matte sealer still makes it a little duller....  so I taped off the T-tracks to give them a slightly different color....  the Henglslter Counter will also be done this way.

Really amazing work Mike.

With all the upgrades and fantastic paint job that you have done you really can't distinguish it from a real gun.

As for the scope we have both worked on completely different solutions but this proves that on this type of upgrade, i.e. where there is no definitive screen used look, there is no one best method and I really like what you have done here.

Your build thread is very detailed with some really helpful photos and I am sure it will be a point of reference for many blaster builders to come.

If there is ever a thread simply listing links to some of the best build threads I think that this would be included. I actually think that this could be a good idea to help those starting there blaster research.

Brother, that E-11 is simply amazing. If I saw only the finished photos I would think it was an original or an extremely high quality replica. Excellent work. I hope mine turns out half as good as yours.

Here are some better photos.  If you want to see a specific part just ask and I will post it.  This has been a great adventure.  I want to thank everyone on FISD who helped make this blaster.

I'm still deciding if to make a blaster stand or purchase one but I must admit I think that the one you have bought looks fantastic and really presents the blaster very well.

Mike, seems like I am a bit late to the party. Congratulations on finishing your great blaster build, which will definitely be an inspiration and source of knowledge for many other builders out there!

Speaking only for myself now (not as member of the Blaster Reference Team), I could imagine you might get contacted in the future to contribute some of your work to the Blaster Reference... (not promising anything)

Again, you did a fantastic job on this and thank you very much for using (and mentioning) one of my Completion Sets to finish this build. Always a surprise what people do make out of these... :duim:

I have been gone for the last week on a business trip. After reviewing The counter made by Chris (Thrawnsguard) I have a little work to do. I also need to work in a little more weathering and try my hand at light rust in some areas.

I took off my counter and began the updates to my counter.  I also noticed that my push button is too thin...  I don't think there is a way to replace it with a thicker one as I glued it down with Zap a Gap.

First I added a piece of metal that has two holes and trimmed out the piece below the electrical connections.  Great eye Chris... I never would have seen this without your post.

Next I trimmed out the sections on the bottom of the counter and trimmed out the piece below the electrical connections.

I also trimmed out the piece on the side to make the "T's" from the metal bracket.  I took off a little too much, but you gotta love green stuff.

I ordered the appropriate screws.  Once they arrive I will repaint, install the screws and remount.

I finished up the rework on the counter.  Thanks again to Chris for showing this detail in his build :duim:    I ordered some M2.5 terminal screws off ebay to use on the rear of the counter.  It was only 1 dollar shipped.   I hope these screws are the correct ones....  I will post a pic when they arrive.

UPDATE:  WRONG SCREW.. THEY WERE PHILLIPS HEAD....

Very nice work on the rear of the counter Mike.

You may want to add the detail to the underside of the rear of the counter also (This is something that i will be looking at shortly).

Chris I saw your request for pics of the underside of the counter and I did get me thinking  :)   I could not tell from the pictures how far the detail was raised and/or depressed from the base.  Plus there is another screw on the bottom.
