marc815 Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 I have tried things from hot glue to E6000, and NOTHING will hold the rubber T tracks to the metal gun... what should I do? Quote

Starfox2010 Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 Thank you! I'll look into it, and just in case, where did you get your T tracks, and do you have a link? I bought a blaster that ended up needing a lot of TLC. It already had the T tracks but were coming undone because they used E6k. If you just use the glue by itself, it will not hold. That activator works Magic. Check the Sales threads, I believe theres someone that sells them here. Quote
TK bondservnt[501st] Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 I usually tie them on with rope to keep them flush and tight. Quote
usaeatt2 Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 Black 3M weatherstrip adhesive. Find it at any auto parts store. I had to use a screwdriver to pry the tracks off to remove the barrel... Quote

usaeatt2 Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 I glued mine and taped around them for 24 hours. Check the label. 3M weatherstrip adhesive is sort of like black rubber cement, but it sticks REALLY GOOD. 3M products always work well for me. Quote

I bought some last night and it is working AMAZING! it really only takes about 30 minutes to set up right. It is a little messy, but I can tidy it up with a razor blade probably. but thank you SO MUCH pictures will probably be posted when I'm finished with the build entirely. Quote
