Hi Guys

Apologies on this being in another Section, (http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/30892-anh-hero-belt-and-holster/)

Im putting it here for Exta viewing..

Am working on ANH Hero TM 1.5mm ABS, and at the stage of connecting (as the title Says) the ABS Belt to the Canvas belt and the Holster,

After much back and forth, I would like to get the exact sizes in MM if possible as I would like to be able to attach and detach the holster and ABS to clean the Canvas belt if needed

So instead of snaps, Chicago Rivets would possibly work best.. but what sizes should i use for the Belts (canvas to ABS Belt) and What sizes should I get for the 4 holster Connections?

TM is getting pop and Single Cap rivets sizes for me ( he is a true gent :-) ) incase I go down that route as I am in Ireland and Cant find Chicago Rivets anywhere, So I will have to get them online,

Thanks in advance..

I use hillman 1/4" screw posts from lowes.  this allows you to remove the belt and holster and is stronger than snaps.

put some duct tape over the head of the post before you glue the cover over it... the heat generated can cause the plastic cap to dimple.

Thanks Vern,,, 1/4" is 6.35 MM, ok that is Something for me to go on,,

so you use 1.4" for the three Connections on the belt, as in ABS belt to Canvas belt?

What did you use for or what would you advise for the Holster connections?

4mm?

Vern,, Question,,, in Relation to the 1/4" Screws,,

where do you place the head, ( Flat head Screw driver End) Facing outwards? or inwards?  If outwards you would need to remove the rivet covers to dismantle the belt.. facing side, Im assuming they will scratch the hell out of the ABS ab plate...........................

Just wondering...............

The accurate way is 7 mm head cap rivets.

Thanks Locitus,,,

Have those, but I would really like to be able to Remove the ABS from the Canvas (possibly one reason is because when I was Starting off I was recommended to get the canvas belt, but now I "know" a bit more, hmmm ) if you know what I mean :)

It's highly unlikely you will ever need to remove the plastic from the canvas belt.

I agree with Mathias, Rob... the chances of you needing to remove it are slim.  I would suggest putting a few applications of Scotch-guard fabric protector on the canvas belt, this will make it much easier to clean.  Also, even if it does get a bit dirty, it will lok "battle worn"!
