osbjdawg[TK] Posted April 15, 2015 Report Posted April 15, 2015 Here we go. Got the box. And a look at some inside. Trimmimg to start this weekend. Be ready for the many questions to come. Quote
CRISTONAMO Posted April 16, 2015 Report Posted April 16, 2015 MK II? Are these updated MC moulds? Sounds awesome good luck! Quote
osbjdawg[TK] Posted April 16, 2015 Author Report Posted April 16, 2015 I bought from a vetted seller and that was how it was labeled. They said there were some changes so maybe that's the MK II. My advisor in our garrison has the same armor, the older version, and so that's what I got. Now I just got to get started. A little overwhelming opening that box. Quote
ISBEAR[501st] Posted April 16, 2015 Report Posted April 16, 2015 (edited) mc updated some time ago, he showed all improvements in a thread over at 501st forum somewhere and calling it mkII Edited April 16, 2015 by ISBEAR Quote

osbjdawg[TK] Posted April 27, 2015 Author Report Posted April 27, 2015 Shins are killing me. They match up in the front, but off by an inch in the back. Guess I'm gonna have to do some bending. I'll post pics tomorrow. Quote
osbjdawg[TK] Posted April 28, 2015 Author Report Posted April 28, 2015 Shins.. Only rough trimmed. I havent trimmed for butt joining yet just rough trim to see how they lined up. Thanks for any info. Quote
ISBEAR[501st] Posted April 28, 2015 Report Posted April 28, 2015 You are using the overlap method right? Quote
osbjdawg[TK] Posted April 28, 2015 Author Report Posted April 28, 2015 No. I'm going to use cover strips. I just haven't trimmed the ends yet. Just wanted to line them up to see how they looked before cutting any more. Quote

osbjdawg[TK] Posted June 10, 2015 Author Report Posted June 10, 2015 Been offline for a while. Got a lot done. I've been looking for the post of how to attach the armor belt to the canvas belt with snaps. No luck. Any help is appreciated. I'll post pics as soon as I get a new computer. I think I know, but would like to double check. Quote
Nacho[TK] Posted July 16, 2015 Report Posted July 16, 2015 Looking good. How do you plan on attaching the lenses? Look into Sugru, very easy to work with. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk Quote
osbjdawg[TK] Posted July 17, 2015 Author Report Posted July 17, 2015 I'll check that out. Thanks. Quote

Legs 20mm front and the backs should be the same width, but sized for comfort. The most common for the backs of legs is 25mm. Quote
