TKDMAC74 Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 So been looking at threads on Centurion Builds and ab buttons are 7/16 but does plate but up against edge or in a little also rounded corners? Thanks everyone Quote
TKDMAC74 Posted March 24, 2015 Author Report Posted March 24, 2015 Joe, follow TK-1650 diagram even round edges? Quote
Bone[501st] Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 No round Corners: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/image/921-ab-plate-04jpg/ Quote
SCTrooper[TK] Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 Square up the corners like this. 7/16 is about right for the buttons. Quote
gazmosis[501st] Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 YOu can even take it closer to the edge for more secure gluing surface. Just do not exceed the rounded portion of the edge. Quote
justjoseph63[Staff] Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 Boy did I learn my lesson on this one! Even after all my research, I glued both plates on, thinking because they were "pre-trimmed", they were good to go. Took me over 2 hours to remove, trim to the correct size, and then re- glue them. Needless to say there was a fair amount of mild cursing. Quote
Mutter Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 Welcome to the club! I trimmed mine too much, used it to get through 501 acceptance and EIB and then replaced it for Centurion. oopsies Quote
