Just for fun... ;) Biceps.

So there you have it. Notches completed, wrists cleaned up, helmet details (painfully) hand-painted, as discussed in my EIB thread. I also made an adjustment to my chest to ab strapping to lower my chest plate, as it was riding pretty high.

I'm pretty sure I have all of the photos there, but if something is needed, let me know. My photographer was an unenthusiastic one, when all of a sudden at 10:45 pm I went.. "Oh, crap... We need to take my Centurion Pictures!" So it is possible that something got missed or isn't quite up to par.

Thank you for your review, comments, and consideration.

As an imminent (august) builder of a set of RT-Mod armour, I have followed your build closely...very closely, I may have been technicallyĀ stalking your thread.

Ā

Your Centurion build is looking good, I expect it to pass without any problem.

BTW them are some purdy drapes you have thereĀ  :laugh1:

Ā

Heh.. They're never meant to be closed. Ā They only stay at the sides of the window. Ā They're pulled to the center and clipped closed for the pictures only. Ā LoL

Hey there, Tim!!! Welcome to FISD staff and thank you for your application to Centurion!!! (I agree, Steve..it's about time) Ā ANYHOO!!!!!! Ā  Let's get to it.Ā

Ā

CRL and Centurion Application Requirements:

Thank you for these great shots of your armor!! All required photos have been submitted. Your Armor represents all elements to qualify for Centurion. Congratulations!!!

Ā

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:

One thing here that needs to be mentioned is the location of the inner connecting bracket screws between the torso sections. I am not a fan of them being as exposed as they are here. They are supposed to be attached to the return edges in between the sections. however, this brand of armor has no return edges to use for this purpose so there really was no other choice. Most of them are hidden under the belt.Ā

Ā

I do want to bring up your brilliant helmet paint detail upgrade. Dynamite work on that.Ā

Ā

Tim is wearing the biceps correctly in his full armor shots. At the lower section of the pictures, he shows them staged by themselves. The "thumbprint" bicep should be worn on the left side. Ā In armor that has one bicep with and one without the "print", they need to be worn on the correct sides.Ā

Ā

Great work again!!!! Ā Congratulations!!

Thank you Steve, and everyone.

Ā

I can't begin to tell you how honored I am to have achieved this distinction.

Ā

There was a very brief period of time during which I was prepared to abandon it (it may or may not have coincided with a certain CRL change), but the bottom line is that I believe in the program. I believe that we owe it to the public, and to LFL, to put the best possible "product" out there for the public that wants to see us.

Ā

As a result of the combination of those beliefs, and my own personal desire to not be a hypocrite by encouraging others to pursue something that I was not willing to do on my own, I couldn't abandon this pursuit.

Ā

I don't like painting any more than I did before this, but I know that it is possible (with patience and corrections) for me to do it. :D

Ā

Thank you all again, with unquestioned loyalty! ;)
