Harrt046 Posted March 6, 2015 Report Posted March 6, 2015 Hi all! I'm currently working on putting fans in my helmet with my brother (I know nothing about electronics). I'm using two 12v fans wired to an on/off switch and 12v RC car battery. My question for you all: How do you secure your fans to the bucket without any buzzing? I was thinking of putting the two fans in the cheeks near the front as I think I can get a little bit of distance off the plastic to get air to be pulled through the fan. Any advice? Thanks! Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted March 6, 2015 Report Posted March 6, 2015 Mounted mine to some angles of abs plastic, attached to some rubber grommets on the back of the mic tips, the rubber softens the noise Quote
Tolo[TK] Posted March 6, 2015 Report Posted March 6, 2015 I think that 12v is a lot, so it migh be vibrating to the power of your fans. This is just a maybe. I might be wrong Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk Quote

Hey Taylor, to answer your question, Industrial Strength Velcro If your looking for just cooling systems there a variety out there, mine probably being the most complex to the simple versions like Echo's or Evilboy's. Both systems can be found here http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/24372-fs-helmet-fan-system-echos/, and here http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29160-fs-the-original-evilboy-dual-fan-helmet-kits/ Quote
