Hello troops,

My blaster seems to always be leaning forward. At the beginning, I though my holster was not well placed, but, it seems to be correctly positioned. I use the Billhag diagram to install it. I was thinking of gluing so HIPS behind the holster and covering it with some some black tissue.

Hoping some of you could chime in with some suggestions.

Thank you.

Eric

It sounds/looks like a heavy blaster in a thinner holster. The area between the sleeve the blaster sits in and the rest of the holster needs reinforcing. You could use so me black ABS or perhaps just a thicker piece of leather glued to the entire length on the back.

My blaster is a Hyperfirm. So I don't know if it's considered heavy compare do a DD.

Thanks for the input Gaz!

Looks like your thigh gets in the way for the blaster to properly sit along your side. Maybe try to move the holster towards the back on the belt?

You have not the same waist circumference than standard troopers on the film, so having riveted the holster that close to the ammo belt might be the issue for you ;)

What do you mean? I don't get it? LOLLLL

I was thinking of doing it, but, my goal is to become EIB, I'm scared that it could mess up my application. Would it Gaz?

I'm not Steve but i don't think it should hinder your EIB, nor Centurion btw. As long as the rivets are located on the 1/3 inferior of the belt it should be ok.

See this guy, his rivets are more towards the back than yours currently are ;)

What material is your holster made of?

Perhaps it is just not sturdy enough?

I have a troopermaster holster that is so stiff, you could bang a nail in a wall with it ...

It's made of leather and well made. I think it's just soft.

This photo it seems that the holster is too long on the top end. The attachment strips look ok but the holster itself looks to be too long and too soft.

Maybe ABS or thick leather on the back to reinforce it like Gazmosis suggested.

I don't think relocating it will fix the problem.
