Hey Chris! Thank you so much for your EIB application. Nice to see another ESB trooper joining the ranks. Let's take a look at your armor!!!

CRL and EIB Application Requirements:

All required submission photos have been posted. Nice application! Your armor contains all necessary requirements for EIB so that said, I would like to congratulate and welcome you to Expert Infantry!!

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section, your fellow troopers and myself provide suggestions towards improving the overall look of your armor. Nothing suggested here will affect any application unless specifically noted.

I will go into further detail below in "Centurion Suggestions" regarding the far outside edges of your chest plate.

I think it would go a long way toward improving your helmet to take the ears down some. I know the feeling of finally getting the ears to fit just right. You back away and say, "Don't touch them any more!!!" The ears can be left to appear thick. As you can see here, gallery_12157_11_601680.jpg

the profile of the ear covers were shallow. gallery_12157_15_2033.jpgI agree tht whoever built this helmet could have done a tad better, the depth is what I am making a point about. I have made suggested trim lines:post-12041-0-88977900-1423505010_thumb.jpg

Centurion Suggestions:

I mentioned above that I would further elaborate on the sides of the chest. I know that you wanted a bit more coverage on the side seeing I categorize you, like myself, as the beefy trooper.

This ridge, however, is distracting away from a Centurion characteristic. If you should apply for Centurion, I'll ask that it be trimmed.post-12041-0-78657300-1423505300_thumb.jpg

You have some interesting gaps in the back. I see the connecting straps on the outer edges of your butt/kidney seam but can't figure out why you get that separation. The gap between your kidney and back, however, is something that you will need to decrease.

You will need to integrate the kidney notches.

In the pic of your interior strapping I noticed drill holes in the back of your ab button plates. Centurion requirements ask that the buttons on your plate be molded directly into the plate and to NOT be separate buttons. If you apply, please post a detailed close-up of this to confirm they are indeed one piece.

For your Centurion pics, I need to see your holster loops around your belt. I like belt security as much as the next guy, but it looks like you have about 12 inches of overlap. You only need the overlap to be about as wide as the square ridge on your butt plate.

Since we are on the topic of holsters, If you apply for Centurion, you will need to upgrade your holster. The original holsters were never stitched along the bottom. They were sleeves. There are several affordable options for good replacement holsters in Vern and Darman or available templates to make your own.

Congratulations again!!!!
