DroidHunter Posted January 9, 2015 Report Posted January 9, 2015 (edited) I have a friend who is putting together a helmet for a TK build. He accidentally cut the s trim short and had to put in an extra piece behind the vocorder. Thoughts on future approval? I'll get a pic up later. Edited January 9, 2015 by DroidHunter Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted January 9, 2015 Report Posted January 9, 2015 You could glue the end of the smaller piece to the other, I don't the seam would be seam, also put the join under the vocoder, won't stand out as much there Quote
fuumantroop[TK] Posted January 9, 2015 Report Posted January 9, 2015 If ya happen to have MEK available, that bonds rubber to rubber. Just make sure you wear glove when handling it. It is some pretty nasty stuff Quote
fuumantroop[TK] Posted January 9, 2015 Report Posted January 9, 2015 From that angle, it does not appear to be S Trim Quote
I'm Batman[501st] Posted January 9, 2015 Report Posted January 9, 2015 As far as approval goes, you won't have a problem - chances are it won't be visible in any approval shots you need to submit. However I did the same, put a small piece in there to close the gap but it was painful, kept falling out when I took ithe bucket on and off. I only lasted one troop and had to order another piece. MUCH better now! Quote
