gazmosis[501st] Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 That's really cool!! Be proud to show that off!! You are going to need to pick up a new set of mic tips. Those "things" that come with that helmet just don't cut it. Quote
Tusken RTT Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 That is some fancy interior- looking great! Not sure, but you might have to round off the ear ranking black outline a bit, I have not seen it really squared off like that. Quote
Snaps[TK] Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 (edited) Really nice helmet! You may want to paint one of the ear ranking bars too Edited December 7, 2014 by Slangen Quote

Deetz1 Posted December 7, 2014 Author Report Posted December 7, 2014 Hey thanks for the positive feedback! I will indeed fix the black outline and round it off as well as add a rank bar. Cheers! Quote
CRISTONAMO Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 Dude what parts did you use in your interior? It looks amazing! That's the next step I wana take with my helmet but do not know where to start. Quote
Sly11[Admin] Posted December 8, 2014 Report Posted December 8, 2014 AWESOME interior man, I like it a lot . As well as the mic tip change, you need some s trim for the bottom of the helmet to replace the U trim that AP supply, it takes you another step towards screen accuracy. Great job Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Quote
Deetz1 Posted December 8, 2014 Author Report Posted December 8, 2014 Dude what parts did you use in your interior? It looks amazing! That's the next step I wana take with my helmet but do not know where to start. Thanks Cristonamo! I used 1/16 fun foam to cover the interior, moulds to surfaces nicely, just hot glue in place. 3/4" plastic corrugated tubing, some stainless tubing, speaker wire. The tubing connects to a brass 3/4" threaded nipple to which I glued a tap aerator onto the end. I covered that in fun foam and added a clamp. I have the battery packs at the rear that power the 2 fans...a nice tip I picked up here on these forums . AWESOME interior man, I like it a lot . Spycee[TK] Posted December 12, 2014 Report Posted December 12, 2014 NICE ! I hope to make something like that one day. Quote

hon143 Posted March 13, 2015 Report Posted March 13, 2015 (edited) Beautiful! One of the nicest, cleanest, most organized interiors I've seen here. And, great job on the ears! Edited March 13, 2015 by hon143 Quote
