Rebels Stormtrooper Helmet

Decided to get one on these Rebels Stormtrooper helmets a while ago, finally have some time to get started.

 

Helmet has some nice details but it is pretty lumpy in places, it's going to need a lot of sanding.

 

 

 

 

Started the mammoth task of sanding away all the lumps, 3 hours later it is ready to start trimming

 

 

 

 

 

Bit more trimming

 

 

 

 

 

Another all over sand with some 180grit sandpaper then it's time for some primer/filler

Finished quite a while ago. Added some foam, fans and wore it for fun at one of our conventions

Definitely a lighter blue than French blue

That was my thought as well...it looks to almost have a turquoise hue to it.

 

I'm going to try to reproduce this to be as screen accurate as I can get it...with the light grey weathering and edge lighting on the teeth.  It will be the third Filoni-animated bucket I've done...!

 

I may be picking your brain from time to time, so thanks for all your help!!

You should definitely get the body armor to complete the full set.
