About reference pictures, there are few excellent and very interesting pictures about the strapping used for ROTJ in the newly released book "Star Wars Costumes: the Original Trilogy". And I have some news for you: My first troop will be in 2 weeks and I hope to write a report for the FTE. For this troop I want to upgrade my boots with white soles and add some fans to my helmet (on the way). Last but not least are inner dropboxes. KaitoTrooper[TK] Posted July 4, 2015 Author Report Posted July 4, 2015 Working in my to do-list I felt the need to paint the soles of my boots white, since RotJs hat white soles (in general). So here we go: - brushing the soles clean - taping the leather so no paint comes onto it - spraying - finished! There is still some cleaning up to do, but I'm quite satisfied with it.
