Tais Posted November 5, 2014 Report Posted November 5, 2014 Hey Guys, I wanted to know how you guys cleaned up marks on your armor? I had to trim the return edge off my TK for centurion and my dremel caught the edge of my armor and this was the result. Although not large I'm not quite sure how to clean it up. I am thinking wet sanding the area with a fine grit sand paper. Is there a wax I will need to keep up with it? Quote
Tolo[TK] Posted November 6, 2014 Report Posted November 6, 2014 Have you tried some Magic Eraser? Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk Quote
Darth Aloha[Admin] Posted November 6, 2014 Report Posted November 6, 2014 I'm only posting so three Erics post in a row. -Eric 2 Quote
Starfox2010 Posted November 6, 2014 Report Posted November 6, 2014 I've used a white erasor but the marks were not that dark. Give it a try Quote
Tais Posted November 6, 2014 Author Report Posted November 6, 2014 It's an Eric party around here I tried magic eraser and it took off some of the scuff marks but it did bite into the armor a little and i can't get about 50% of it. Quote
sskunky Posted November 6, 2014 Report Posted November 6, 2014 I use 3M sanding pads. They do a fine and super fine. That will take the marks out. Using a circular action. Then I use micro mesh which is a material sand paper and you can start using 2400 then 4000, 8000, and then 12,000 grit with a bit of water. Finish with Novus Polish 1,2 & 3 This is good to polish out scratches too. Quote
sskunky Posted November 6, 2014 Report Posted November 6, 2014 If it's just marks you might find novus Polish will do the job on its own. Quote
sskunky Posted November 6, 2014 Report Posted November 6, 2014 Oh, and sorry to spoil the party. Mark.... Quote

I also use their touch-up sticks that are found in the ladies nail repair aisle at stores. It is only three polishing steps, but for small stuff, it works fine and leaves a nice sheen. ---------- Sorry, but I'm not an Eric, Rick or Mark, and don't even have an 'R' in my name... ukswrath[Staff] Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 Sskunky like you I use 3m. Actually I use them for any kind of repair or just general clean up. Quote
