Brinkco Posted November 5, 2014 Report Posted November 5, 2014 (edited) I just had a bad thought, guys..what if my armor doesn't fit me? I'm not FAT, but I am sort of a bigger guy, so it worries me. Thoughts? Getting a ATA kit relatively soon. Edited November 5, 2014 by Brinkco Quote
Sly11[Admin] Posted November 5, 2014 Report Posted November 5, 2014 If it doesn't fit around the middle, you can shim the halves. If it doesn't fit around the thighs, you can shim those too and make slightly wider cover strips. ATA armour is a reasonable size, so I wouldn't be concerned until it arrives and you start to measure up things. How tall are you and weight please you will get better feedback form more troopers if you include these. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Quote
sithstalker Posted November 5, 2014 Report Posted November 5, 2014 Hey guys and gals. My trooper armor arrived finally and looks like I need to some major mods to the armor. Not so much the details but the over all fit. This may include separating calves and trimming and re-gluing. Also the chest plate, abdomen, and butt plate are all one piece. I am considering separating them. Amy thoughts on what I should do? Also the thighs are way too big. Is there a good technique to getting the joint strips off after they have already been all super glued together without damaging the armor? Quote
gazmosis[501st] Posted November 5, 2014 Report Posted November 5, 2014 You may want to start your own thread there, Anthony. Quote
