Auckland Armageddon - My First [unofficial] Troop

Auckland Armageddon (our version of comic con – sort of), was held 24^th - 27^th Oct. This was the date I had been aiming for to have my TK ready & 501^st approved. Unfortunately as there were issus with the supply of plastic for my helmet, I grabbed a loaner kit a week before the event and built a reasonable helmet but didn't get around to also getting approval.

 

Thankfully Outpost 42, the local garrison, were good enough to let me troop alongside them over the weekend. I had the most fantastic time, spending about 19 hours in armour and meeting some amazing people. I suffered no major aromur breakages or bites, though some comfort tweaks will need to be made.

 

While setting up our stand on Friday, we saw the most amazing bunk bed!
