OK ... I am nervous but I decided to dive in ... I am following TROOPERBAY's Youtube video as a guide but I would like some guidance ...

I have started to trim the Left Bicep photos ... do I leave like this or trim so there is no lip ?

Am I on the right path ?

Looks good so far! I would trim all of the return edge from the bottom, as it will cause armor bites at your elbows most likely. Keep it coming!

I left some on mine, got skinny arms so bites aren't an issue

Question ... Should there be any lip on the armor or do I cut down by the seam as in the photo where I have the pencil line drawn?

Looks like we are at about the same place in our builds!

There is no right and wrong when it comes to 'most' return edges. There's heaps of topics on it when you search, but the basic consensus is that's it up to the wearer if you want return edges or not on the limbs. Pros and Cons with both. Exception to the 'up to you' rule is the forearm and back/kidney/butt connections and the chest/ab piece.

Good job! Just keep it slow, step by step, measure twice, cut once :duim:

Put the lenses in my bucket ...

Trimmed the lens to the eye hole .. carefully heated up the lens (as Gazmosis did in his Tutorial) let it form to the eye hole then glued them in .

Well, I know i havent posted much lately but, now that the holidays are over I figured i would post my Helmet.

I know i need to paint the Ear Screws, and I may trim the ear circles down a TAD more but my mind needs a rest from trimming those things .. LOL

I will be applying the PLASTI-DIP / CHEESECLOTH ( as instructed by Gazmosis ) this weekend.

Great work!   I am on my ATA build too and know what you go through trying to decide how much to cut. Once cut you cannot put it back on!

Your helmet looks great, paint the screw heads white and your ready to go troop!

I'm starting my ATA build as well. I started with the biceps. Your pics are great. I'm gonna leave a bit of edge to give a little meat to them. Let me know how the left bicep goes. I've seen people post on the "well known problems with the left bicep" although i don't know what that is
