I would just get these, but the seller is taking a break for a while. I love the dimensioned drawing, and these seem to match perfectly.

Check out McMaster part number 97461A674

It seems to meet all the requirements for the split rivets. About $6 + s&h for a box of 25.

I'm aiming for a Centurion build and I'm just a little unsure where these are used.

Two for the thigh boxes

Three + one on the abdomen plate

Three on the kidney

Nine total, correct?

Actually, the fasteners that hold the thigh pack on are two piece speed rivets. They also have a slightly smaller diameter to the head.

Thanks, Steve. A two-piece speed rivet may be more accurate, but these would meet Centurion requirements (actually EIB) for the thigh ammo belt.   Do I understand correctly?

  • Thigh ammo belt is attached to thigh with a solid head rivet or fastener in the upper corner and fastened to the lower thigh ridge.
    • The solid head rivet attachment is painted white.
    • Standard pop rivets are not allowed

Yes, we allow split rivets for the knee pack. But the correct one to use is the cap rivet.

Found this for the speed rivets. Yes you get a whole 100 of them, but its only $11 before shipping. Id be interested in splitting these if your interested
