I think he used opaque as a word because the unknowing saps why buy it don't see, or think about the meaning of the word.

I love how the "finished" photo shows the lenses painted black. That just proves it's screen accurate. Luke Skywalker did say he couldn't see a thing out of the helmet, now we know why.

This makerofthings guy even recast his family...

 

Why have the originals when you can make copies of them!

In the discription it say "The molds used to create the helmet up for auction were created from a helmet that was cast from a screen worn bucket."

 

So he made a copy from a copy of a screen used bucket.  That sounds more like bucket inbreeding to me.

Sorry to see. Why get a recast when they can just buy from you? Time and again has shown that overall recasters quality is worse, prices more expensive, and service is poorer. Usually all 3!

Technically  I am have been recast since you sold me the molds and all the rights etc several years ago.
