Sly11[Admin] Posted September 15, 2014 Report Posted September 15, 2014 Hi all looking at an Aker amp, I see they come in different watt outputs. 10, 12, and 16 watt, but the unit also increases in dimensions. Is the 10 watt loud enough or is a 12 watt the more preferred unit to use. Th 16watt is just getting too big in size I think but please chime in with what you guys use. many thanks. Quote
Tolo[TK] Posted September 15, 2014 Report Posted September 15, 2014 I use the 10w and it's more the enought! Sent from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk Quote
starsaber25[Admin] Posted September 15, 2014 Report Posted September 15, 2014 (edited) I also got the 10w and I think its perfect. It fits well in the chest too. Edited September 15, 2014 by starsaber25 Quote
Sly11[Admin] Posted September 15, 2014 Author Report Posted September 15, 2014 Awesome, thanks guys Quote
Darth Aloha[Admin] Posted September 15, 2014 Report Posted September 15, 2014 I like the loudness of my 12 watt. I can be heard over din of a big con. God help people (pretty much everyone) who are my chest height. -Eric 1 Quote
Trooper Daddy[TK] Posted September 15, 2014 Report Posted September 15, 2014 Another vote for the 10W. I used one for the first time at a con over the weekend, and it was plenty loud without even being turned up all the way. Also, I understand the iComm was designed to be used with the 10W Aker. If you're considering getting one at any point, you'll probably have better success pairing it with the 10W. Quote

rt65dh[501st] Posted September 15, 2014 Report Posted September 15, 2014 I have a 10w too and it works well with an iPod shuffle and the TK loop...no problems with sound at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
