Wanted to see how many troopers out there troop in the "screen accurate" style of carrying your blaster in your left hand, or do you do want comes naturally and go right handed? Or was everyone in Britain left handed during the 70's? Or stormtroopers in general for that matter.

Actually, there are several occasions, where the TK's in ANH switch between left and right. Only when standing at attention, do you see everyone holding their blaster lefty like.

But thats good enough for me, so I have always used left hand while in armor. At the beginning, I had to think about it, and remind myself to do it, but now, left handed comes automaticly to me, as soon as I put on the armor hehe(can that be defined as a sort of mental disorder??).
And as a bonus, its easier to hold the blaster close to your body, when you dont have the magazine poking you and getting stuck under the breast plate, when you try to raise it :P

I troop right handed. The sterling was made for right hand use, so it makes sense to me.

I'm a lefty, but while trooping the blaster can get pretty heavy, so I'm always switching sides to give the other side a break.

On general trooping duty I tend to go right handed. If I think the photo being taken works better with the blaster in my left hand, I'll swap.

Then when we parade we almost always have it in the left hand. Especially when Phil is in charge. ;)

I troop with my MR and never switch hands, unless it would be best, when a picture is taken.
And yes, my arm is a bit sore after a couple of hours :P

Right handed. It just feels natural but trying left handed to see if can get used to it...

Cool. I was just curious like arnie_DK said earlier troopers in ANH tend to switch hands but there are a few action sequences where there are multiple troopers firing left handed.

I believe the actors where instructed to use left hand, but simply just forgot some of the time.

Right hand. But since I'm ESB and the holster is on the right it feels better. Unless it's a parade or a big pic then I think we tend to do left.

I'm a lefty by nature, so will be Trooping ANH lefty

Lefty. I'm a lefty. Besides, the ANH holster is on the left. For my ID, when armed, I troop righty to remain accurate (like anyone really notices).
