Holster question

So I made a dumb mistake and purchased an ESB holster and not an ANH one, and I'm going for the ANH stunt TK. To the experts out there if I cut the straps and replace them with brown faux leather ones will that suffice or should I see if someone will trade me?

99.9% sure the colour of the tabs doesn't matter. There's even sellers out ther (in fact, my holster was like it) where they make them with loops for ESB and just cut one half of the loop to have a single piece for fixing if you go ANH.

any strap works. the only requirement is that the holster itself is black and the strap system is the correct style of single button with two straps.
