Greetings Christian, and welcome to the FISD!!!

As John mentioned above, there is plenty of help available, but research is indeed your best friend.

Here's a great place to begin: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/38-getting-started-read-this-first/

G'day, and welcome aboard, you are in good hands in the FISD ask lots of questions if you are ever in doubt

Reading through the getting started areas is the best first step, and also reading through everyone's build threads. That will get you most of the way there, but like riding a bike, at a certain point you need to put the book down and just start peddling. Much experience comes from doing/making mistakes.

Hey Christian, welcome to the FISD. As everyone has mentioned, research, research and more research. Once you get started, you are hooked :duim:

I'm planning to join 501st west Texas squad. But I know that building my suit will take time. I've been talking to the armor maker Far Away Creations haven't gotten a reply yet on a quote yet. But my buddies have made a point to me. Being a shadow trooper not much ppl know who you are. Going to events sometimes sucks because you can't show up in most pictures or ppl think you're Vader. There's currently no shadow stormtrooper in the squad I'm trying to join. But that's the warning they gave me. So I'm stuck with changing or staying. I'm still doing research on whitearmor.net and Far Away Creations.

I was looking at Far Away Creations' web site, and I don't see anything listed where they make any type of TK armor.  Have you received any photos showing what their TK armor looks like, or what it's made out of?

Plenty of good tutorials and build threads to follow, part of this journey is research, good luck :D

They don't have photos but they are armor makers. I did get a reply and he told me he's forwarding the email to the ones that specialized in those armors. Haven't gotten a reply from them. A few members from west texas squad told me about them and said they have gotten some parts from them. The material? Idk about that.

I think I found it!  They have it in their gallery under the label "Spacetrooper".
