Holnave (evan_loh)[TK] Posted July 29, 2014 Report Posted July 29, 2014 (edited) Stunning Since Centurion has very high standards of accuracy they might call you out on your TD screws. The right screws to use are these: All the best in your application. Edited July 29, 2014 by evan_loh Quote
Guest Trooper1975 Posted July 29, 2014 Report Posted July 29, 2014 Not 100% sure as I can't tell from your shots but I think the stitching on the gloves is wrong...I was led to believe the gloves were stitched in the 5 point star shape in double row's of stitching at each point..From your pic's it looks like single rows of stitching at each point..Apologies if It is the right way but it's not that clear. gazmosis[501st] Posted August 1, 2014 Report Posted August 1, 2014 Hey Alex: Thank you for applying so quickly for Centurion! I really didn't expect any less Let's take a look at your wonderful armor! CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required submission photos have been posted. Thank you for providing the shot of your forearms clarifying no return edge and of the cod rivet and butt plate snaps to show no paint on these. Your armor is fit to your frame very well! Your ESB posse should be proud to have you beside them! With that, I would like to congratulate and welcome you to Centurion!!!!! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: Since Centurion requires many more specific pictures than EIB, there are more opportunities to see improvements can be made. Not surprisingly, I don;t have much to comment on here. I would highly suggest making it a priority to re-apply those helmet decals to lay flat. This is your crown jewel of the armor that everyone looks at first. There was mention that the required double stitching on the hand guards was not clear. I circled and marked the locations that were clear to me: As for the screws on the thermal detonator, I would like to see all td's have the black, slot head screws rather than the phillips head screws, but it has never been supported as a requirement. It is often suggested as an upgrade for more accuracy. Congratulations on a great set of armor. Now get out there and show it off! Quote
Dark PWF[Staff] Posted August 1, 2014 Report Posted August 1, 2014 Congratulations Centurion Alex!!! Quote

Front-a-Little Posted August 1, 2014 Report Posted August 1, 2014 Congratulations ! Alright, time to found a fire team. Gazmosis: On the double stitching on the handguards, did you mean it looks like the threats are cross-sewn instead of being parallel ? (Not to mention the one missing on the left glove, um... that's battle damage) Quote
gazmosis[501st] Posted August 1, 2014 Report Posted August 1, 2014 Hey Pat. The original question regarding the stitching was that it was not the required double stitch pattern rather single stitching. All I did by circling and marking the pattern was to show that it was indeed the required double stitch star pattern (two on the sides one on the front) Quote
