Bonnox Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 (edited) Hi guys I'm currently on my second helmet build, I got my hands on a dirt cheap I think it's an fx helmet kit that was only part complete only had the top cap and both back and front parts, iv managed to source/build custom parts for pretty much everything except the ears, iv made my own but am just not happy with them, and now I can't find any anywhere, iv searched the web but can't find anything, I have had a spare pair from my other build but they are too short due to the oversize nature of the fx helmet, can anyone point me in the direction of where I can find a pair ? My apologies if this is in the wrong section I'm a newbie Cheers Edited June 21, 2014 by Bonnox Quote
Bonnox Posted June 21, 2014 Author Report Posted June 21, 2014 Hahaha now I know why I can't get my ears to fit iv built it upside down :-) Quote
gazmosis[501st] Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 It is going to be difficult to find replacement ears for this type of helmet. Contact the guys at "AM" or Armor Master. They used to build suits with that helmet and might still have replacements or the molds to make you a set. Quote
Bonnox Posted June 23, 2014 Author Report Posted June 23, 2014 How can I get in contact with them ? Tried searching for them and get lots of results talking about them but none actually lead me to them Quote

Bonnox Posted June 28, 2014 Author Report Posted June 28, 2014 Brill thanks, email sent they are going to see as they haven't pulled any from the old moulds for some time, so I'm not confident at the moment Quote
Tolo[TK] Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 Sadly, you could find some on e-bay. Sent from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk Quote
Bonnox Posted July 21, 2014 Author Report Posted July 21, 2014 Big downer, they don't have the molds anymore so it's a no go on getting any original cast ones, I don't really want to settle for ebay ones, plus I haven't seen any, might have to settle for some other producer and custom fit/adapt them some how, "sigh" anyone know who would do the ears seperate ? Found a couple of people on the net who basically say no it comes as a kit can't do ears on their own as then they will have helmets without ears, which is fair enough, looking more likely to be re casts "gulp" Quote
