I would adjust your back plate so it is not overlapping your kidney plate and retake the photo. Steve mentions this in your EIB thread. I would also erase the pencil line on your cod plate. There should also be a pic of the back of your thermal detonator showing the clips and the black slotted screws. You could also look into trimming the cover strip on your right thigh so it is even with the thigh, it looks to be extending past the thigh on the photo of the back of your drop box. Other than that pretty solid build, all minor adjustments. Good luck with your application! Looking good :)

Also missing is photos of gloves and hand guards :) I think your main waist ammo belt is a bit high also. It should sit directly under the staging area for the large button group. And maybe it's the lighting but I don't see any frown screen on your helmet.

What has that got to do with anything?

"It may be used to obscure the face of the wearer". And that is for basic approval only.

The frown screen was something invented by the 501st to make the costume wearer's face less visible to the public. It has never been a requirement to have this installed in a helmet.

This should answer any questions regarding belt to button plate placements.

Was just making an observation........ :)

Hi Lee, it is nice to see you here with a Centurion application, if you need any further help with it then please ask.

Lee's back plate overlap was setup to align with the top of his kidney plate, this can be seen on the Left hand side, but it appears to have dropped a touch on the right hand side.

Lee is also planning to install frown mesh in his new TM lid, but troops with a black balaclava to obscure his face.

I also have to admit to forgetting to take a lids off pic for him for his submission pics, however as Lee is out trooping now so regularly it won't be long to add the required missing pics.

Good luck Lee, nice build :)

Thanks for the update, Phil. Like I mentioned before, it is totally optional to install the frown screen. A balaclava provides a good cover for the face but even one of those is optional. It is up to the costume owner as to the level he/ she wants to hide their face. As for the back plate overlap, everyone's back raises up when you lift your arms. The full, right side pic holding the DLT-19 shows an overlap of at least an inch. This goes beyond a "slight" overlap.

Hey Lee!  Thank you for your application for your Centurion badge. Let's look at your armor!!

CRL and Centurion Application Requirements:

All submission photos have been posted. IT is always a pleasure to see yet another well built set of TM armor. You should be proud to wear this armor, Lee!  There was, however, one correction that needed to be done.  There was a bit of excessive overlap of the back plate over the kidney on the right side.20140608_201427_zpsfcc9dc90.jpg Lee has made this correction and the original back shot was replaced with the updated photo, The side shot showing the overlap was left for comparison.  Thank you, Lee, for taking the time and making the extra effort to improve the overall look of your armor!! It shows!! 20140629_110945_zpsec2426f1.jpg With that, I would like to congratulate you for taking your place among the other Centurion troopers!!!! You will make your Garrison proud!
