KO22[TK] Posted May 8, 2014 Report Posted May 8, 2014 I been working on this on and off for over a year and I "think" I am ready apply to become an official member of the empire. I would just like the experts to take a look and let me know if I missed anything. It is an ANH Stunt and I would like to go for EIB approval. Also it is an ATA kit. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Here we go! Helmet Armor Strapping Thermal Detonator Sniper plate E-11 (hyperfirm) Thank Again! Quote
HawkFan24 Posted May 8, 2014 Report Posted May 8, 2014 Looks good! One thing I noticed is you can paint your rivet heads white on the left side Quote
KO22[TK] Posted May 8, 2014 Author Report Posted May 8, 2014 I thought about that but I saw some others that were not painted. I will most likely do that, thanks for the advice. Quote
Raintrooper Posted May 8, 2014 Report Posted May 8, 2014 Looks like your shoulder bells could use a little adjusting. I had a similar problem with mine that I solved by shortening the length of the strap from the shoulder bell to the elastic under the shoulder bridge. The shoulder bell almost touches my shoulder bridges. I also tightened the under-arm elastic so there was no slack at all. There should be as little of a gap as possible between the front of the shoulders and the chest plate. Other than that, great job trooper! Quote
usaeatt2 Posted May 8, 2014 Report Posted May 8, 2014 Forearms look huge - is it possible to disassemble and trim them down? Also, ALL of the return edge needs to be removed at the wrist end (even the raised area with the bumps). Removing that return edge will also help provide more room to fit your hand through. Jason already mentioned the shoulders. Other than that, looking good! Quote

EIB is about the look and shoulder gaps like that aren't really Stormtrooper. But the rest is looking good, apart few details only mattering for Centurion. Good job! Quote
KO22[TK] Posted May 8, 2014 Author Report Posted May 8, 2014 Will do! I will shorten the elastic on the shoulders. I thought that might be an issue. I was also wondering if I should trim the return edge as well. I thought that might help pull it closer. As for the forearms, should all of the return edge be removed from the front of them? And is there a picture I could see anywhere? I really don't want to trim them anymore as I made them about as small as I could without having to reform them for the jointing. I used some foam inside them to keep them snug. Thanks for the suggestions, if there are anymore please let me know. Quote
The5thHorseman[501st] Posted May 9, 2014 Report Posted May 9, 2014 I don't know and doubt that removing the return edge from the bottom of the shoulder bell would help, but shortening the strap from the shoulder bell to the shoulder bridge is a good idea. And if it's not enough, you can try to glue your strap or snap on backward of the molded ridge: I'm not 100% sure but it should help. Forearm return edge entirely removed: Quote
