Question.

Maybe this is too big of a question to answer here or something. But I've been wondering, what is the difference between ANH stunt, and ANH hero armor? I know that 'hero' armor was used in the films for close-ups, and what han and luke wore. But what exactly are the differences. Also, how do those differ from ESB, and ROTJ armor?

Are these differences things that the builder does throughout the build process? Or are they certain types of armor?

Thanks!

On the left side of the home page or forums main page is a set of tabs titled 'film canon CRLs'..if you click on those it will give you the requirements for each version and visual references in most cases, which is a good start

I also had those questions but didn't find the right links and took some time finding out. Minuteman has got it right. starwarshelmets.com is a good place to start.

ESB recycled ANH armour with a few changes and ROTJ had new armour and constructions methods. Once you get the hang of the differences between the different film armou types, they stand out so much :)

That's interesting. So they made helmets that look worse for the shots that would have close scrutiny. Just an ABS stunt helmet would have been fine.

Oh My goodness! I feel as if I've been enlightened from on high!!! Ha! Thanks, that website is gold! When I started looking at them I had the same feeling of, '...they all look the same'. Then I started reading and now it's like, 'Woah! They're way different!'
