Gunner1138 Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 Never heard of anyone making PVC armor before Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 Recast RS. RS also uses PVC btw. Quote
Palpatine1977 Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 Yes they offer it the same as all their other kits, apparently PVC is glossier and more resistant to weathering, however being the hardcore enthusiasts most of us are we opt for the ABS per the originals. Quote
Stormy1992 Posted April 22, 2014 Author Report Posted April 22, 2014 I know! I've never heard of PVC armor before either. Interesting. Recast? I asked him about it he responded with he bought it from someone else but didn't have the time to build it. Looks accurate though :/ good or bad buy? Quote

And a bad one at that. Very loose details. Quote
Stormy1992 Posted April 22, 2014 Author Report Posted April 22, 2014 Alright! Thanks! Just checking and making sure all you know what's going on outside of FISD Quote
gazmosis[501st] Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 I'll be willing to bet it's a "makerofthings" RS suit. That looks like the super cheap styrene he used. Quote
LadyInWhite[TK] Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 Funny I was showing my husband and said "soft RS recast" and then here it all is. Glad to see I'm getting better at this. Quote
Stormy1992 Posted April 23, 2014 Author Report Posted April 23, 2014 Haha that is funny! But I'm glad I'm posting and getting info too and spreading word of 'bad' armor haha Quote
Holnave (evan_loh)[TK] Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 Yeah mine's an RS PVC flexible and more mistake friendly. A great start for first time builders/non-DIY people Quote
