Space between ammo pack and thigh

I am wondering if there can be or should be any kind of spacing between right legs ammo pack and the thigh armor or should the pack be flush up against the thigh armor? I assume flush up against but better safe than sorry.

Flush to the armor as possible or it will hinge out of control

You can also glue the bottom of the thigh to the inside of the power pack
