millenium1 Posted February 14, 2014 Report Posted February 14, 2014 Hi all, I am waiting for my TM armour and wondered if anyone has used Dritz non roll elastic for their strapping? Any recommendations and advise would be greatly appreciated as i want to give this beautiful armour the best possible attention it deserves. Many thanks Ricky Quote
swmand4 Posted February 14, 2014 Report Posted February 14, 2014 I think that's what I used. Works great. My only recommendation is that you fold the ends over when you place your snaps through it. That way the stem of the snap goes through two layers of elastic and is less likely to pull through or fail over time. Quote
Dark PWF[Staff] Posted February 14, 2014 Report Posted February 14, 2014 Sounds like a score, Ricky!!! Quote
TK bondservnt[501st] Posted February 14, 2014 Report Posted February 14, 2014 actually the regular elastic should be used if you're going to replicate the original type. personally I don't like the ribbing effect? for straps that are going to be seen such as the forearms and thighs and other possible areas the ribbing stands out and can be seen compared to the undersuit. my 02 credits. DizzyStormtrooper[501st] Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 For being cheap at Walmart it's surprisingly good! Quote
