I'm not quite sure where to post this...

But I'm in the need for some ABS pieces I can use to glue some snaps to my AP armor. Does anyone have som scrap ABS pieces for me? I will of course pay a couple of bucks for it, plus postage.

Signs work great.  Make sure they are a thicker type, parking signs usually work best.  Just sand the color off then use a nice 2 part epoxy.

Personally, I think the Trooperbay ABS works great for a shim, but are a bit too thick for snap plates.  I used both methods.

You don't have to use plastic for the snap plates. You can use webbing like some do. The purpose of the tabs is just to give more surface area for the glue to bond with.

Yes, using webbing is as efficient but also easier as it will adapt to the armor shape, whereas with ABS you have to heatshape the snap plate if you want to glue it on a curved or not perfectly flat area.

I've seen some using webbing. But the rest of my snaps are fastened with small square pieces of plastic. Thats why I want to use that method. I want to keep it tidy inside.  :) And I'm only adding a few snaps.

I planned to use E6000.
