hairball[501st] Posted January 28, 2014 Report Posted January 28, 2014 Just got my dlt-19 from doopydoos and startet some weathering and paint. Im adding a rear scope and functional bipod. Im using rub`n buff silver for the weathering. Added some wires Will add a hint of red to the stock. Quote
Arnie_DK[TK] Posted January 30, 2014 Report Posted January 30, 2014 Love the effect of that Rub'n buf thing. Way better than drybrushing metallic paints! Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted January 30, 2014 Report Posted January 30, 2014 Yeah, that seems to be the way to go. Maybe model painting handicapped like me could pull that off. Quote
hairball[501st] Posted January 30, 2014 Author Report Posted January 30, 2014 (edited) I used a rag for large areas and brush for the edges. I seal it all in with a strong a cheap hairspray(don't tell the miss's) I'm amazed how little you need of the rub n buff Edited January 30, 2014 by hairball Quote
