captsafe66[Admin] Posted December 8, 2013 Report Posted December 8, 2013 Looks Sharp! Should be an easy approval, Stand by! Quote
Darth Aloha[Admin] Posted December 10, 2013 Report Posted December 10, 2013 Michael, Okey... here are my two points before approving you... thanks for your patience during my absence. Trim the top of your shims so that they line up with the top of your ab and kidney horizontally. Trim material of the top and bottom of your knee pack so that the edges are closer to the boxes on the pack. Thanks! -Eric Quote
McDNet[TK] Posted December 11, 2013 Author Report Posted December 11, 2013 Ok... glad you got your internet back. The knee pack trimming will not be a problem. I will have to do something about the chest and back pieces. As you see they do not line up with this suit. The only way I can get the front of the shim to line up is to have it at the angle you see. But I will figure something out. Do you want to see photos with the me in the full suit again? Just photos of the changes? Just let me know what you want to see. Thanks, Michael Quote
McDNet[TK] Posted January 8, 2014 Author Report Posted January 8, 2014 Here are my redone photos. I cut the ammo pack down as requested. I also lowered the back piece and removed the shims I had in place and created new ones to make the connection more straight than the angle it was at. Hopefully these are sufficient. If not, please let me know and I will adjust accordingly. Quote
Darth Aloha[Admin] Posted January 9, 2014 Report Posted January 9, 2014 Michael, I had a quick chat with our DO and we agreed to pass you for Centurion. There are two quick things that could be cleaned up still. While your shims look much better, the tops are still not even. They would look much better and less like shims if they were even across the top. Also something Gazmosis noticed was that your front cover strip on your thigh extends a bit too far and onto the ridge. Congrats trooper, -Eric Quote
McDNet[TK] Posted January 9, 2014 Author Report Posted January 9, 2014 Fantastic!! Thank you VERY much. I am very proud!! And fixing the shin cover strip won't be a big deal thanks to E6000. Just a little trimming!! I can't wait to tell my buddies! Quote
