The5thHorseman[501st] Posted November 23, 2013 Report Posted November 23, 2013 Impressive, i didn't expect to see one finished one day ^^! Congratulations I just remember few things i learnt when i translated the CRLs: - shouldn't the painting at the rear of the helmet end in a -H shape? - And also i think there shoulnd't be any black straps wrapped around the biceps. Anyway, good luck with your approval Quote
TK6287[TK] Posted November 23, 2013 Report Posted November 23, 2013 Never seen this one before. Well other than in the toy version of it. I think it looks great! Well done! Quote
kylebeagle[TK] Posted November 23, 2013 Report Posted November 23, 2013 Nicely done. I have only seen these in the Force Unleashed video game... They were on the move too. Nice to see in still pictures. Cheers!! Quote

SKY CRL: Centurion Jetpack thrusters shall actually work and jetpack shall be able to actually hover for at least 30 seconds. Fett did it!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxljftDEOXQ Looking good man! Quote
Toddo[TK] Posted November 27, 2013 Author Report Posted November 27, 2013 OK Todd where is the video of the hovering for 30 seconds!?!?! SKY CRL: Centurion Jetpack thrusters shall actually work and jetpack shall be able to actually hover for at least 30 seconds. Fett did it!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxljftDEOXQ Looking good man! With all the drone paranoia, I worry about being shot down. Seriously though, I admit I can only fly for 27 seconds. Quote

bluehickey Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 Wow, you look great in it Todd! Question: does having the tubes attached to the helmet restrict your movement of your head? Quote
Toddo[TK] Posted November 30, 2013 Author Report Posted November 30, 2013 (edited) Wow, you look great in it Todd! Question: does having the tubes attached to the helmet restrict your movement of your head? Thanks! The material Targ supplies for the tubes is really flexible overall. Having said that, it does limit the movement a tad left to right, but even more so up or down. Edited December 1, 2013 by Toddo Quote
Cantina Security[501st] Posted December 1, 2013 Report Posted December 1, 2013 Wow, straight up action figure... Nice job....whoa.... Quote
captsafe66[Admin] Posted December 8, 2013 Report Posted December 8, 2013 Sorry for the delay, please continue to stand by. Quote
Darth Aloha[Admin] Posted December 9, 2013 Report Posted December 9, 2013 Todd, This is one utterly badass costume. It's a really clean paint job and build with a high attention to detail. It is completely deserving of EIB. The reason for the delay on approval is I wasn't, and I'm still not sure, about the back of your helmet. The action figure clearly shows some gray boxes below the cap: I'm not convinced that it would look good on an actual helmet. I also think I need more proof beyond the action figure that the gray boxes are present from star tours footage. I want to discuss it further with the staff. I will likely ask you to add some paint to your helmet if you apply for Centurion. Please continue to stand by on a decision on that. As it stands here is the wording from the basic level for the helmet which is confusing: A unit stripe in a medium gray shall be present on the cap of the helmet. The unit stripe starts between the eyes and above the brow and flares out to cover the outer edges of both back traps. (trapezoidal indentations) and ends at the ridge of the cap where the back meets and extends below the bottom of each trap. I'm also ignoring the ab button orientation which you correctly pointed out is wrong in the CRL. I'll be changing the CRL soon enough. Congratulations to Todd, a 4 time EIB, a costume addict, and the first Skytrooper EIB! -Eric Quote

The5thHorseman[501st] Posted December 9, 2013 Report Posted December 9, 2013 Congratulation on your EIB! However i still think you need to remove your shoulder bells black straps wrapped around you biceps: For level two certification (if applicable): Shoulder bells are rounded at the corners. No shoulder bell straps across the biceps. Quote
Toddo[TK] Posted December 9, 2013 Author Report Posted December 9, 2013 Thanks everyone! This was a really fun build. Eric, I have had the same exact thoughts about the back of the helmet paint. I've wondered if it is a weird action-figure thing or if it is intentional. If I need to fix it, I certainly will. It would be impossible to undo if we determine that it shouldn't be that way. Quote
WoodChuck[501st] Posted October 9, 2015 Report Posted October 9, 2015 WOW great armor, but the blaster is NOT one of mine. Quote
