Sniper Knee Plate Attachment [AP] Stunt

Ok, so my sniper knee plate did not line up well with the shin.  So I took apart my shin and reset the two shin pieces so that the were properly aligned.

 

The deference was minor.

 

Does the AP sniper plate simply not fit onto the shin by lining up the grooves?

 

Does it require EXTREME heat gun distortion to get it to appear straight?

Yeah it just doesn't line up right. If you heat it (boiling water for example) it helps a bit but it will still have a bit of a crooked look from the from when lining up the ridges on the side. Truly wonky.

The thing i did which truly allowed me to fit this thing has been to flatten the ridge circled below:

 

This way i've been able to bring this wing slightly higher than normally and that really helped me.

 

But I also had to slightly reshape it with heat.

AP here and also wonky the first go round. Had to rip apart and redo. Business as usual.

I just clamp em on and the heat and pressure from the clamp distorts the area near the ridge.

the sniper knee is not level on screen used suits so why worry so much.

sometimes the DO tries to go farther than seen on screen

DO's should never try to overdo it!
