Buzzard[501st] Posted October 30, 2013 Report Posted October 30, 2013 I'm currently building an NE kit and there is a problem with the helmet. As you can see in the pictures below, the notch used to line up the top of the helmet with the backplate creates a ridge that sits away from the faceplate. What I am thinking of doing is cutting out a notch in my ear to match this ridge so that the ear will sit snugly against both parts of the helmet, like so: Once installed, the black helmet trim will cover the notch so that it is not noticable. Can I get opinions on this, please? I want to go Centurion and I don't think this will cause me any problems but I'm checking first... Quote
