Aren't you a little short for a Stormtrooper?

Yes, I've heard it quite a few times.  I'm 5' 8",  but would love to sport the white armor at 5'10".  I've thought about getting some 2" lifts for my boots.  Has anyone had any experience with them, and maybe suggest a brand to get?  Should I have a pair of boots a half size bigger for the extra height?

I saw a Vader with lifts and he looked good in them.

 

P.S. You are lucky, I get the Chris Griffin line: Aren't you a little fat to be a Stormtrooper loll.

Lifts work, you can also raise the helmet with foam then tilt down so you can still see

I know.  It's just a majority of the people I troop with are taller and I would like to be a little taller in the pictures.
