Redforce[TK] Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 (edited) Here are some photos I took of the armor today. It was modeled by Empire City Garrison friend Trevor Gosden. It was great meeting Gino. I will be back tomorrow....I'll be trooping....so I might not be able to get too many photos Edited January 16, 2021 by gmrhodes13 photo updated gmrhodes13 2021 Quote
Dark PWF[Staff] Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 Very nice! Thanks for sharing, and enjoy your trooping tomorrow! Quote
Logon Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 (edited) Nice!I know the shoulders are temporary but doesn't the dropboxes and frown(Looks almost like hero) look abit strange? Or am i wrong? Edited October 11, 2013 by Logon Quote
troopermaster Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 (edited) It is a hero. Gino, were the original shins assembled with the joining strips on the wrong sides or was that a mistake on the EFX prototype? *edit* Nice photos, Anthony! Thanks for sharing Edited October 11, 2013 by troopermaster Quote
GINO Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 That's just how they were on the original suit we used. Quote
troopermaster Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 Thanks. When will the original shoulder bells be shown? Quote
GINO Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 Not sure. Prob at the next show. Not sure what or when the next show is. Quote
TK5144[TK] Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 is the trooper a very thin guy? looks like the abdominal plate is overlapping the kidney? Quote
bluehickey Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 Great photos. So by putting someone in this suit, we can infer that EFX is no longer just advertising this as a prop piece that sits on a mannequin, but as a costume for trooping as well. Quote
Gosdent Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 Hey guys! That's me in the armor. TK5144, yes I am very thin. I'm 5'10" and 122 lbs. The armor was awesome! Fit me perfectly, and felt great. It was a ton of fun to wear. It was an amazing week and I am grateful for the opportunity. Looking forward to seeing the final production version. Quote
GINO Posted October 15, 2013 Report Posted October 15, 2013 Thanks Trevor for being a 'trooper' and doing such a great job of modeling the armor for us! . Quote
Dmian Posted October 15, 2013 Report Posted October 15, 2013 This looks really sweet! Thanks for the pictures, Gino. And great worg Trevor. Quote
