I bought these and modified them in fact they should be done tonight. It was pretty easy and didn't even come close the breaking my bank. Make sure to order a size down from your normal shoe size. I am a 9 and ordered a 8.5 and they fit perfectly.

Look at Sorens thread. Bass Amsterdam or Lands End Chelsea. If the latter, order one half size up.

I think I found a set of TKboots local in my size.

However, I will maintain this thread as I still more than likely pick up a set of Bass Amsterdam and dye them white

I just picked up a pair of boots from Land's End. They are black but they are the right shape/style/look. They were also 30% off so I figured why not. If someone is still looking for a cheap(ish) pair of boots, they were under $100 shipped.
