Buck10 Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 Just took delivery of this beauty from Doopy Doos today. Fantastic to deal with, very prompt delivery & wow I love this BFG already! Piccies may not be the best...its a lot of gun to fit in. I have no prior experience with the MK1 or 2 so not sure of the differences yet. Do I weather it? Like it the way it is but I know it'll look beeter with a bit of weathering, question is how much? The obligatory brown box opening Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 Awesome, they definitely have a keen eye for detail, worth the dollars Quote
SorenM[TK] Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 Holy cow!...on one hand I am glad that you uploaded these photos...on the other my impatience in going home and unpack the one I received last week has just increased tenfold....:-) it is a piece of pure beauty!... Quote
Buck10 Posted October 5, 2013 Author Report Posted October 5, 2013 Mate, I am over the moon with it. It is a quality piece of kit. The weight feels great, the attention to detail is amazing and the paintwork superb. Every time I pick it up I've got this stupid smile in my face lol. Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 Definitely looks like they made some good improvements. If you want to compare it with the Mk2 there are some nice comparison photos between a DD Mk2 vs Hyperfirm MG34 here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/15891-hyperfirm-vs-doopydoo-mg-34dlt-19/ Quote

TK bondservnt[501st] Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 the details on the feed tray, and the charging handle alone are worth the price... not to mention the clean makers marks... can't get enough of the BFG! Quote

Good thing it is hollow but the problem is that it's hard to get stuff into it unless you try and push them in from the front of the barrel. Quote

Dark PWF[Staff] Posted October 22, 2013 Report Posted October 22, 2013 Definitely a beautiful piece! That is enough to make me consider one. Thanks for sharing, and congratulations on your stupid smile! I personally believe that it does need some slight weathering though. I've never been around a weapon (unless it was BRAND NEW) that doesn't show at least some minor wear and tear. Quote
